‘Ready For The Floor’ is the first single to be taken from Hot Chip’s forth coming album ‘Made In The Dark’.

As last year’s Mercury Award Nominated album ‘The Warning’ proved, Hot Chip have an uncanny skill for creating widescreen pop music that pushes the boundaries of what music can be. ‘Ready For The Floor’ is no exception: a glorious mix of dance floor grooves and folkish pop that is instantly inebriating/intoxicating.

    When i first heard …
    When i first heard this song when he says ‘your my number one guy’ it reminded me of the first Jack Nicholson joker because he says it to his friend. Then when i saw this video i couldn’t believe it, it must be a reference to the 80s film.
