How do I add friends on Myspace without needing their email address?

I want to add my friends from school on Myspace but I keep needing their email address, then I log into my friend’s Myspace and try to add them and it works! It doesn’t ask for email address or anything. How can I fix this? I also tried going to Account Settings but there’s nothing for that either.

if you have an itouch/iphone and the myspace app, you can send a friend request from there without needing an email address.

ask them what their page is ex:myspace.com/soandso, then click the add to friends link under their pic

Their Account settings probably have something that requires their email to add them
